Aikido for Behavioural Management.

Various schools within the North Somerset area are now using Rising Sun Aikido to help with pupils who are having behavioural/anger problems.

The response to the programme has been very successful with a reduction in the amount of exclusions within the school and a significant change in a number of pupils.

The programme has been successful using the following tools.

  • Team build activities
  • Trust exercises
  • Learning basic Aikido techniques
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Learning to respect self and others
  • Learning Japanese
  • Having Fun
